Pride of the Greater Lehigh Valley (Pride GLV) traces it's roots back to 1983, where after attending the Civil Rights March in Washington, D.C., a small group of residents were inspired with a vision to share with the Lehigh Valley. This group of pride pioneers recognized the need to provide a much needed positive and welcoming atmosphere for the Lehigh Valley Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender (LGBT) community.

Since that time, Pride GLV has not only grown as an organization, but has seen it's premiere event 'Pride in th e Park' reach new heights each year.
