Adoptions From The Heart (AFTH), a licensed, non-profit adoption agency, will hold a free information meeting, “Explore Russia Adoption,” on July 28, 2009 at 7:00pm. Attendees will learn about the process of adopting a child from Russia including program criteria, children available for adoption, travel requirements, and myths vs. facts surrounding adoption. This meeting will be led by AFTH Social Worker and Coordinator of International Programs, Sam Wojnilower, MSW/LCSW, who has adopted three children internationally, including his son from Russia. Most adoptive families have been completing their process within 1 year, and there is a need for additional program applicants to adopt young Russian children.
