Last year Robert Burton, Ed Gumina and Amy Smart launched the first ever DiscoBowl as a collaborative fundraising effort for two fantastic local non-profit organizations: FACT (Fighting Aids Continuously Together) and PRIDE of the Greater Lehigh Valley.
It is with great sadness that we tragically lost our beloved friend, Robert, on November 2, 2009. Robert’s contributions and support of the Greater Lehigh Valley’s non‐profit organizations were many and will not be forgotten. Robert was vice president of FACT. A fantastic family man and friend. He was an advocate to all those that needed help including the rescue of many animals at the time of his passing.
So it is with honor that we have re-named this event:
The First Annual Robert Burton Memorial DiscoBowl in celebration of his love of life! The funds raised through The Robert Burton Memorial DiscoBowl will benefit F.A.C.T. and Pride of the Greater Lehigh Valley. Your donation in memory of Robert and in honor of my participation provides funding to continue programming and outreach for both organizations.
Bring yourself, bring a team, raffle donations, whatever… Just please join us!
