St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church- Historic Downtown Easton
St. John’s on Ferry Street is a family oriented and welcoming congregation in historic downtown Easton. No matter where you are in your spiritual or religious journey or how comfortable you are with organized religion, you are welcome to join us for any of the events we hold or host at the congregation.Each week we hold events including Alcoholics Anonymous, Narcotics Anonymous, Ecumenical Prayer Group, Women's Discussion Group, Quilting Group, and our Art Gallery, to name a few. We are a God-focused, welcoming, and family-oriented congregation for all people. We became "Reconciling in Christ" in 2002, where we publicly acknowledge that we openly affirm and accept all people regardless of sexual orientation and gender identity into all aspects of the congregation. Weekly worship is at 10:30am (9:30am from the beginning of June through labor day). Sunday School and adult forum at 9am during the school year. A staffed nursery is available for all children during each all services.
All trained professional staff member are available to talk about issues such as coming out, religion and sexuality, and any other crucial issues in the LGBT community.
