Pride of the Greater Lehigh Valley will grant three awards Sunday, August 19th, 2012 onstage at the annual Pride in the Park celebration at Cedar Beach Park in Allentown. 

1) Queer Student of the Year - $500 AWARD– Awarded to a queer student who is a positive force in the GLBTI community through their involvement and participation in community activities.

2) Rainbow Award - $500 AWARD – Awarded to a queer student based on academic excellence.

3) Diversity Essay Contest - $200 AWARD -  Open to all students enrolled in higher education regardless of sexual orientation or gender identity.
